Mary-Kate Olsen (born June 13 June 13, 1986) is an American actress, fashion designer writer, producer, and businesswoman. With their twin sisters Ashley Olsen, she co-founded the luxury brands The Row and Elizabeth & James and also the less expensive fashion labels Olsenboye & StyleMint. Olsen was able to continue acting independently after becoming an adult. She is younger than actor Elizabeth Olsen. Mary-Kate Olsen lived in Sherman Oaks.
